“SUMMER”

July: Too many clouds, too much rain but managed to go Gurkin hunting with canoes before the grey settled in. Chris visted, we went bowling, re-went to Teufelsberg, rode around West Berlin, swam in a lake, Freya got drunk. All documented.

FUCK ADULTS KIDS REVOLUTION

Constant hitmaker, childish prodigy, encore denier.

Primavera Sound is the festival in Barcelona where I took most of these photos (Blank Dogs, Glenn Branca Ensemble, Suicide, Ty Segall, Ariel Pink, Kurt Vile, Pissed Jeans + doing things), in the same city where I took a particular H & M catlogue-esque photo of Freya that the German at the photo lab wants to print and put on his front window because “it is really great” hahahaha.

Also took pictures of the band Belgrado, friends hanging in a couple of parks during the 2 weeks of Summer Berlin has had so far (it’s July) and one of the band Grass Widow.

LOST & FOUND

Remember me sooking about the roll of expired film I shot when I first got to Europe that turned up absolutely nothing when I tried to process it? Well, a couple of weeks ago I decided to dig those negatives up and hit the local bros on Fulda Str. up to see if they’d give the negatives a little more attention and they did a damn good job! Far better than what I was expecting.

So check it out, some spaced out photos from my first couple of weeks in Europe last year and probably some of my favourite that I’ve taken.

YOU ARE WELCOME

Moroccan adventure complete. Exotically and uncomfortably un-European. Great trip. Photos here and here.
